We are delighted to report that Le Xuan Chan was a finalist for best student paper at this year’s New Ways of Analyzing Variation conference. The paper was entitled "Crosslinguistic Laryngeal Contrasts in a Multilingual Speech Community: Voice Onset Time among multilingual speakers in Malaysia” and was co-authored with Rebecca Starr.
